How do I find good RV stops along the highway?

I am traveling from Maine to California.

The first thing you should do is join AAA. Once you are a member you can request maps and other trip planning services from them, including the helpful "triptiks" they produce individually for your exact route. Beyond that, you might look into joining an RV park club.

There are loads of books for RV travelers that detail specific routes, list suggested sites and have up-to-date information about RV parks and stops along the way. Visit any large bookstore and peruse the travel section. There are also many great websites and blogs for RV travelers with similar information.

The are many traveling websites that cater to RV drivers. These sites are often filled with other drivers favorite places to stop.

I would check your route online using a site such as Google. Often times people will rate RV stops and based on their comments you can best plan your trip.
