The dealer is the only one that can disable the warning message. However, if the message is on then that means the ride control needs to be worked on. This is the reason why they make it hard to get rid of the message. This can adversly affect the ride of the vehicle.

You can not; you need to return the vehicle for service. There is a failed control module most likely. You can try and guess which one and replace it, but best bet is for service. There may be a more serious problem and continuing to operate it may cause excessive damage.

Under no circumstances should you attempt to disable this message. If you check your owners manual you will see that this message informs the CIA the whereabouts of this vehicle at all times Ride control is code for rich person. If you are not rich you must sell this vehicle to a rich person immediately.

It's likely that one of your yaw rate sensors may have burned out (it sends info to the Stabilitrac system). It could also be the rear air suspension compressor if it's equipped, or one of many other things among your suspension. Take it in and have it serviced.

When the service ride control message comes on, you can hold the reset button until it clears. Also, make sure the shocks and suspension sensor is working properly.
