Cubic feet area is determined by the multiplication of length x breadth x height. But the main thing to be kept in mind is that all the three should be in feet.

If you measure 1'x1'x1' square box, it is one cubic foot. This can be further calculated for inches, Example: 12"x12"x12". The answer is 1728. Any combination in this calculation to give answer 1728 is one cubic foot. Timber of size 4"x3" will be 144" long to get 1728
