You can use Visio to open the DWG file and then once it is opened, you can select a sub-menu on the DWG file and convert that way.

First, you need to import it into your Visio project, where it will appear as a 'CAD Drawing Object'. Then it's as simple as right-clicking on it and choosing 'Convert'.
