This is very easy to do. Disconnect the tube vent and reach in and pull out the built up lint. Reconnect the vent tubing. You're done.

To clean the heat vent on your electric dryer, remove lint, nests and other obstructions with a rotating brush on a flexible stem. If necessary, use a blower or vacuum to flush out any remaining clutter. Heat vents should be cleaned at least every 18 months.

Disconnect your dryer vent pipe from its outside vent opening. Take time to get it vacuumed out thoroughly. Now keep the lint and dust from polluting your air, attach a vacuum cleaner bag securely to the end of the pipe. Hold it in place with a wire clamp on the outside and put a fan to blow the moist out.

Remove the lint trap from the dryer and hand remove the accumulated lint. I usually tap it gently after and or vacuum the lint trap. Replace the trap.
