When selecting a driving school, the most important features to look for are: qualification of instructors, a broad range of available class times, and pass rate percentages among former students. Other factors you might also want to consider are cost, proximity to your location and friendliness of staff and instructors.

One must look at the instructor that will be teaching him/her. The instructor must be certified as well as experienced in driving. The price of the lesson must be taken into consideration. If possible, ask for a free or a reduction in price for the first lesson, so you can decide whether or not you will stay at that school.

I rely heavily on word of mouth referrals when selecting the best driving school. I look for excellent instructors and a great track record.

Ask around and get recommendations from friends and neighbors. Make sure the school is licensed by your state, and properly insured. You can also call the Better Business Bureau to make sure there are no complaints filed against the school.
