How do I check the spark plugs on a Snapper weed eater?

I need to know how to check the spark plugs on my weed eater. I also need to know any precautions I must take.

The plug should be on the back of the engine and have a wire and rubber boot going to it. Remove the boot from the plug and use a socket to remove the plug. The electrode should be a brownish color, not black or white.

First you must unscrew the spark plug. After you have unscrewed the plug you will want to see if it looks black or not. Replace if needed.
