How do I change the default zoom in Word?

For new documents you create, you have to open the Normal template, change the zoom at your desired setting, press space and then backspace so that Word knows something has been changed and it needs to save, save the file, and close. That will only affect documents you create. It's not possible to change the default zoom for other documents.

In microsoft word, the zoom option can be adjusted by using the option zoom in the menu bar. In latest versions like word 2007, there is a zoom bar on the right corner of the window which can be adjusted. Short cut to adjust zoom is, "ctrl + mouse scroll" for zoom in or zoom out.

As i know if you change the zoom from the left(down) corner then it will stay as you set it anytime you open again the Word.
