Provide them food and water all times. To reduce pecking keep quail of same size together. Handle them as little as possible to avoid stress,handle them gently. They will avoid food pieces too small or too large,provide them commercially-produced game bird feed. 2 square feet for a adult is a better choice.

The quail is an singing bird and it is cared with interesting. You may fed with raggi and seeded fruits an you fed with rice and cereals type of food. The quail eat the neem seed and it may be offered to it and like the seeded fruits etc to protect it.
