How do I care for an oleander shrub?

Apply compost under the plant in the spring. Cover with mulch to keep in the moisture. This will also help to control the weeds. Keep watered in the summer.

Oleander's require little water(water only when dry) and lots of sun. They can grow into small trees, so be sure to prune in autumn.

Oleander shrubs are low-maintainance plants that take little water, don't mind poor soil, and they still produce beautiful flowers! They like direct sun and to be misted early morning.

You should wait for the soil to be dry before watering and mist the leaves in the morning to prevent them losing moisture.
