Score high (47+) on the ASVAB, attend school for medical training and get certified as a Corpsman. Rank is determined by experience, service, accomplishments.

The first thing to do would be to speak to a Navy recruiter about your interest. You'd have to go through basic training and then Advanced training/school afterwards.

You need to sit down with a recruiter to find out if this is an open rating. If it is, you'll do boot camp and several other schools afterward.

First, you must gain a qualifying score on the ASVAB, a standardized test used to determine who may join and what choices a person gets for jobs. Your recruiter can tell you the exact score needed to become a corpsman. Then, you must be accepted into the navy. After that, you need to complete basic training and corpsman school.
