How do I become a canine dentist?

I think they're pretty rare, so there would be a demand for it.

Most people don't realize that there is such a thing. You must take C.E, classes amd become board certified to do this. Most vetenary hospitals will have trained personel to take care of these needs.

There is no specific liscencing for dentistry in Veterinary medicine. Veterinarians or Veterinary Technicians typically perform these practices. However, if a Veterinarian or Veterinary Technician would like to specialize in canine dentistry they can join a Veterinary dentistry academy and from there they can become certified as a specialist in the field.

Canine dentistry is a specialty of the veterinary medicine profession. First you must become a vet and then take classes to specialize in dentistry. Depending where your practice will be located, most vets could not survive off dentistry fees. They have a general practice but advertise dentistry as their speciality.
