How difficult is it to replace the glass in a sunroof?

This would be difficult because of many factors. The sunroof will require specialized tools to remove the trim, and to access any type of anchors holding the glass in place. Also when installing the glass, they use suction cups to keep from dropping the glass. Replacing the seal and trim is also tricky.

I would personally not attempt to do this just because glass is very delicate and painful when it stabs you. You must properly seel the glass and make sure that the sunroof is placed at pinpoint accuracy otherwise you will not like rainy days even more than you didn't before.
