Usually it depends on how far along that you are in your pregnancy on how the infection is treated. Most of the time your family doctor will prescribe you some antibotics that will help clear up the bacterial infection. Antibotics will not harm your baby and they will help you get better.

If it is an external infection then topical antibiotics are fine to use. If it is internal, ask your doctor for a safe medication.

Always consult your OBGYN before taking medication of any kind. Go to the doctor and get medication. You can do other things at home to help fight the infection. Drink orange juice and take extra vitamin C pills. It will help kick the infection faster.
