Most small children have this, and they can extend your joints more flexibly than most adults. If you are fully grown and can bend and stretch limbs and your whole body much more than normal then you are double jointed. You can see it easily in your hands if you can bend fingers back fully but don't force anything!

if your joints are moving in directions other than what they normally should be its a good chance you're double jointed. most common areas for this are fingers and toes. More rare are elbowa and wrists.

There is not really any such thing as being "double jointed". It's just an expression used when someone's joints are unusually flexible. The proper medical term is hypermobility or joint hyperlaxity. But only a few people have joints so loose it is classed as a medical condition.

There is no such thing as being "double jointed". Each person is made with a single joint where there needs to be one. A "double-jointed" person is someone that happens to be very flexible and can thereofore move parts well beyond their normal range of motion due to increased length within the tissues, they don't actually have an extra joint.

a lot of times your body does things that don't seem "normal". Such as being able to bend your fingers in a weird way or pop it out of place.
