Rubbing mayonaise on the stain as soon as it is noticed and letting it sit overnight seems to remove the stain almost completely.

Rub some Colgate toothpaste on the spot and clean it off with a soft cloth or try using car wax in the same way. Both work great.

well to start you need to clean the table really good remove any food. then plug your iron up and be sure to place the hot iron on a safe surface. then locte the water stain and then place a cotton cloth over the first stain smooth out all the wrinkles and then place the heat on the water stain

I would first try a magic eraser and see what that does. You could also try vaseline overnight on the stain and see if that works. You could also try toothpaste or something similar.

Try buffing the area with a dry cloth. If this doesn't work, try polishing it with an oil based furniture cleaner.
