increase bore, increase stroke, increase RPM, increase manifold pressure, add forced induction (turbo- or supercharged) or add more oxygen. To get more power, you must burn more fuel and air.

Easy ways to increase horsepower for a reasonable price would be to put in a new intake, exhaust, ignition set-up, or even just upgrade your air filter.

Checking the valve compression in each cylinder will ensure that your car is operating with the proper pressure in each combustion chamber. Another possibility is to make sure that your fuel-air mixture isn't too lean or too rich.

There are many ways to do this. Any easy way is to increase the flow or air in and exhaust out. This means installing a freer flowing aftermarket intake and a bigger, less restrictive exhaust. Every type of car benefits from different modifactions so look online for more performance modifications.

The engines power depends on how much fuel it can burn and how efficient can it burn it. The easiest option is to add turbo chargers to increase the air fuel mixture that is forced into the cylinders, this method is very similar to inject nitrous into the cylinder.

One way to increase the horsepower of an engine is to get a narrower exhaust pipe coming out of the back of the car.
