Need exercise if it is caged. It needs to run and hop around. If it does not do so, put it on a bunny-leash for a few times to get use to it. Feed more dark greens vegetables or grass instead of pellets. Make sure the rabbit is truly overweight and not suffering from diseases. Go see a vet.

The best way to help your overweight rabbit lose weight is feeding them smaller portions of food. Do not fill bowls to 'eat at will', feed three times a day.

If the rabbit is over weight it could be from lack of exercise and over feeding. You should reduce the food gradually and put the rabbit somewhere it can exercise.

Make sure your rabbit gets to run around at least twice a day and that you portion its food intake throughout the day. In order for your rabbit to lose weight, it cannot have its food out all the time; give several tiny meals to help them drop the weight.

She probably needs more exercise than anything, just like us when we gain weight. Feeding too much of the pellets can cause them to gain weight. Feed them more fresh fruits and vegetables. If he is kept in a cage, you might want to fence in an area in the yard where she has room to hop around.

Your rabbit will lose weight by doing things that you and I would do to lose weight. You could cut back on your rabbit's food a little bit, but not too much or your rabbit will get sick. Your rabbit also needs to exercise more.
