How old was your cat? Did he show any symptoms of being sick? Do he get out of the house recently? Was he in contact with other cats?

A necropsy, or an autopsy for animals, will have to be performed be a veterinarian. That would be the only way to know for sure.

You will probably need to consult a veterinarian to find out what happened to your cat. Only an expert's opinion could be trusted.

Depends on the symptoms the cat displayed before death. Call your vet and tell him the symptoms your cat had before she passed away.
