If she still flirts with you or talks about the past, she probably still has feelings for you. Life is too short though, so if you have feelings for her - go for it. Make sure you both start fresh though; nothing worse than dredging up past issues.

disccover why she is your ex. and go from there. the fact she is your ex. measn there was something before and we tend not to forget. i doubt she dosent forget either. enjoy life and dont worry. things come back to us that were meant to when its time

If she stays in touch with your friends, and is always asking about you, then she still does like you. She could also tell you she just wants to be friends, and you will be able to tell by her actions if she is growing feelings more than friendship again.
