So, you are setting up a venue that mimics a real marsh, with equal proportions of land and water. You can do this by shelving off using driftwood, rocks, sand, in various designs, or you can make distinct zones by sealing one part of the tank off from the other.

Setting up a paludarium is the same as setting up an aquarium. Make sure you build enough land/water portions just as you would find a real marsh.
