How can I prevent my self from falling asleep at work.?

It is not like I can do like George did and bring in a blanket and pillow.

You can try getting up and stretching once in awhile. Try to do something stimulating when you are able, like a crossword puzzle, etc. You can also drink coffee.

I do not know if you are working during the day or night but usually the best way not to fall asleep at work is to drink coffee, do some simple exercises or have an interesting activity to do.

Be sure to get plenty of sleep each night. Most people need about 8 hours of sleep. Drinking caffeinated beverages (coffee, tea, etc. ) during the day may help you stay away, if you start to feel sleepy. Try to get up and move around every so often too, as that will help to keep you alert.

Can you drink coffee? Maybe get up every few minutes and walk around. Do some stretching exercised to get the blood flowing.
