You will need Distilled water and aloe vera gel, as well as beeswax and other oils and fragrances and suites you. You put everything into a bowl and mix.

A good base for making lotion is Aloe Vera Gel or Aloe Juice. Adding Vitamin E or Oils add to the moisturizing effects. You can add Stearic Acid as a thickening agent. Add Herbs, Frangrance Oil or Honey to make it the scent you prefer.

You can use glycerin or simply buy a lotion base online. Add to that base no more than three herb essences. Some herb essences include: lavender, rose, green tea. Mix everything well.
