Staff fighting should be learned in a safe environment that is supervised by a martial arts expert. The room should have enough space to swing the staff without hitting anything. Also practice on punching bags and sparring with other staff fighters.

We can learn basic staff fighting moves with the taking a meeting with the whole staff members and discuss the matter with them. It is a good manner for it.
