Florida vines are hard to kill. Sometimes weed or plant killers will kill the vine. It will make them dry up. The problem is that the root system is still in tact and the plant will start growing again. Probably the best way is to start digging and dig up all of the roots of the plant.

Hang a bottle (12 oz.) close to the vine end. Insert vine into the bottle filled with weed killer to the bottom of the bottle. Cover bottle top with tin foil to keep out rain. Vine should show distress in a few days. This kills to the root.  add a comment

Florida vines are sometimes hard to kill. Start with a weed killer spray. They will dry up and wither away. Sometimes the roots must be killed or they grow back.

You have to dig them out by the roots. You may also need to use plant killer. Maybe digging the out by the root and spraying the plant killer directly in the hole would work. If not call a professional.

You have to cut the roots out as with any plant. If you are really having trouble after doing that, and perhaps using some plant killer, I would dig until I dug it all out wherever it is coming from. If you are looking to eradicate a large amount of them I would suggest hiring someone.

The best way is to remove the root system all together. If you just use a pesticide the root system will stay intact and regrow.

Well, they are hard to kill. But if you snip off the right area at the root, then you will be able to keep the vines from expanding. Just cut at the tangle and you should be fine.

It's a bit rash, but you can try motor oil. This is ill advised though due to environmental reasons.
