To increase your stamina when running, it is important that you are well-rested, eat a healthy diet, and are properly hydrated. Eat an hour before running, because it is difficult to have the energy to run on an empty stomach.

You can do something called tabata running. What you want to do is sprint for 20 seconds. Then rest for 10 seconds. Do this for 8 rounds. You can also incorporate this with other movements such as squats, lunges, natural leg curls, or one legged pistol squats. Keep pushing yourself all the time.

You will need to train your body to run great distances, start by running as far as you can and try to increase your average distance each day. Also I suggest you take long deep breaths inwards through your nose and exhale through your mouth. This will also help increase overall stamina.

To increase the stamina when running yout intake should be a healthy one, like eat fresh vegetables and juices. Keep your mind relaxed. Have it a routine practise for running.
