We can install fonts into Photoshop by two different methods. (Option 1) Simply drag and drop your new fonts to the default fonts folder (c:\windows\fonts). (Option 2) Just open (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts) and in stall you new fonts. If you insatll more than 500 fonts it will increase the loading time of Photoshop.

It should be pretty easy. Download the fonts you want and the move them into the windows font folder. The new fonts should appear along with the old ones. Sometimes you may have to reopen it to refresh the list.

If that were true, then all my Windows fonts would be available in Photoshop. They're not.  add a comment

Photoshop uses system compatible fonts like any other program. Installing the font into your OS's font folder (before loading Photoshop) will make them available for use.
