First, pull back the carpet and pad from the area where the squeaks are located. Walk on subfloor to find areas where wood bends up and down. Reinforce these areas with floor nails so subfloor lays flat. Lay pad and carpet back down again and tack edges.

There is a kit on the market to help repair the carpeted floor. It is the Squeeeeek-No-More Kit which runs about $30, which is made by O'Berry Enterprises Inc. It is easy to use and works well.

The only way is to nail them down further if they have warped at the edges or should they have warped in themiddle remove and refit with new ones,You could try adding a heavy layer of carpet underlay. Squeaking floorboards are cause by loose nails and rubbing planks,Squeeking floorboards have mice trapped under them

You will need to pull your carpet up and look to see which boards are loose. When you find the board if there is a joist underneath just srew it back into place. If not you may need to put a crippler board underneath to secure it to.
