How can I find out what is draining my car battery?

Try unhooking things that could be draining it until it stops dying. Try pulling fuses on certain devices. Common items that could do this are stereos, amps, and any other accessories that have been added recently. Also check your alternator to make sure it charges.

the altenator needs to be checked because it charges the battery when the car is running. also the cables need to be checked to see if they are clean and tight.

Unhook the negative side of your battery and attach an analog voltmeter inline. Set it to amps and pull fuses untill ir drops to 20milliamps

Take it to a reliable mechanic and have them test each electrical line for a drain. Its the easiest way to find out.
