Most likely you have burned the clutches in your transmission. Check the fluid. It should have a red tint. If it's dark and smells burnt, you have a bad transmission.

It's possible your transmission is in "limp in" mode which will require a transmission shop. It's also possible that the catalytic convertor is plugged.
