Military pay changes every year and typically goes up 3%. It may also include housing, rations, special pay, danger pay, overseas pay and a bunch of other entitlements. Basic pay is listed on the Military pay website "DFAS". You can also find it by googling "Military pay". If all else fails, ask a local recruiter for the current pay scale.

Doing a quick search for this years Base Pay Charts will show you the pay for the different ranks at different years throughout their careers. The Air Force pays the same as other branches, with the exception of some special pays. Hope this helps.

Visiting the local air force recruiting office or a search online would probably provide the answers that you are searching for. If that doesn't work, asking an officer from the Air force might.

Go to and enter US Military Pay Chart 2010, this will provide you with the most up to date pay chart. All branches of the service get paid the same amount for what pay grade they are. You can also find the housing allowances by base by searching on google.

The best thing to do is go to the Air Force website and it will show you. I know that an E-1 gets paid roughly $1,400.00 a month and it goes up from there.
