There are an abundance of "no Kill" animal shelters in most states. If you cannot find them online then you can always call your local Humane Society.

Search the internet for no kill shelters in your area. They will have to tell you whether they are kill or no kill. Many shelters will have the word rescue in them and that will tell you they are no kill. Most kill shelters are county or state ran, so look for a privately owned shelter.

The best way is to visit pet stores in your area that have pets for sale. Ask the manager or owner for information.
