How can I decrease the water pressure in my shower?

It is very easy to decrease the water pressure in shower. Following care may help to decrease the water pressure: 1) Please do not open valve fully open. 2) Throttle or press button of shower should not be fully pressed. 3) In case, please please change the showerhead if it is getting more pressure.

One way to reduce your water pressure because the pressure is constant in the city or county water mains. To do so you will need to install a pressure regulator and set it at the pressure you think you would be satisfied with. You will also need to install a pressure gauge on the discharge side of the regulator.

To decrease water pressure you can close the shutoffs a little each time until you find pressure you desire. hot and cold should be done at same rate.

You can buy a low pressure shower head at any home improvement store, like Menards or Home Depo. Simply replace your existing shower head with the new low pressure head.This will also save on your water usage.

One can simply replace the shower head with a low flow model, or install a device walled a flow restrictor at the point where the head connects to the pipe.
