Use a mild solution of soap and warm water and use a jewelry cloth to clean it up. If there are scratches they must be buffed out by a professional.

There are many ways to clean jewelry, but the best way is to go to your local jewelry store and pick up a chemically enhanced treatment. They typically sell these or give them away (you can even find them at drug stores). You will need to dip your jewelry in them for a few seconds, and they will be clean.

You can clean platinum by either using a pre-packaged jewelry cleaner or soaking it in a mild solution of ammonia and warm water and rubbing with a soft cloth.

Try to remove as much dust particles as possible. Use a very soft brush to remove them. Next, boil a small amount of water, let it cool abit, and add some gentle liquid soap (such as Dawn.) Use soft cotton dipped in the mixture to clean the jewelry. Let the jewelry dry naturally. This is the cheapest way.

Pretty easily actually. A small bowl of water and a couple of spoonfuls of baking soda will usually take off any tarnish.
