You can clean platinum by either using a pre-packaged jewelry cleaner or soaking it in a mild solution of ammonia and warm water and rubbing with a soft cloth.

Clean the platinum jewelry using a gentle bristle brush and a mild solution of soap and warm water

Put jewelry in boiling water with two teaspoons of amonia for 10 minutes. Remove let cool. Brush with soft brush, put back in solution for 5 min. Remove and rinse.
