This really is something that any one can do. With my Toyota, all you have to do is remove the distributor caps, and use a special wrench to remove the old spark plugs. Then screw in the new ones and replace the rubber caps over the cylinders. No Problem!

It's a simple remove and replace; the problem is they're often hard to reach. Locate the spark plug wires and follow them to their ends. Pull the wires out ONE AT A TIME, use a spark plug socket to remove the old plug, and to install the new one. Repeat for each plug.

Honestly, unless you know what you're doing, learning from this site is probably not the best way. Either take your car to a mechanic or else take a class or find someone who can teach you how to change spark plugs. Cars are too expensive to risk damaging yourself.

Changing spark plugs is fairly simple. Use of the proper socket wrench is key and replacement plugs should be already pre calibrated so they can just be put in when the old ones are taken out.

You need a spark plug socket. Remove the old spark plugs with the socket, gap the new plugs, and tighten them snug with the socket.

First remove the plugs wires and label them if necessary. Twist the boot to break the seal and slide them off. Then use a spark plug socket to remove the old plugs. Gap then install the new plugs with some anti-seize on the threads. Then re-install the wires.
