How can I build my "good" cholesterol to a higher level?

You can eat your way there. There are many foods high in good fat, such as avocados, or nuts or salmon or other fatty fish (tuna, mackeral, etc.). There also are pills that have omega-3 fatty acids. You also can eat flax seeds or take flax seed oil.

By eating good omega three fatty acids and oils. Found in salmon and olive oil , to start. Peanuts and natural peanut butter are a good source for good cholesterol.

If you need to lose weight, get more good fats in olive oil, canola oil. Eat more salmon, berries, and nuts. Exercise more, and eat whole grains read labels.

One of the success I had to increase good cholesterol is eating oatmeal for breakfast. Try five minute oatmeal, use cinnamon, nuts and raisins. Cook the oatmeal in water on the stove - bring to a boil, cover, cut off heat,let it sit for 10 minutes add some warm milk.
