Go to any home improvement store. They will have the fixture you need to add into a wall. Then connect the wires once you buy it.

You will need an outlet, pliers, electric tape, and wire. The wire should be spliced into the wire between the light and switch then run to the wall where the outlet will be. Connect to outlet and install in wall. Remember to turn off the electric while working!

Locate the wiring from the light to the outlet. Then place where new outlet is going to be. Cut and insert into location. Run the wire from the light to the new outlet . You can also run it to where both outlets run on the same switch.

Contact your local electrician and tell them what you want to do. And ask him what you need to do so you can install it. Also make sure you do not need to have it inspected upon completion if so ask him if he is qualified to do so. Then ask him what you will need and how much.

The best thing to do is to tap into the wire for an existing outlet all ready on the wall. You can take a jigsaw and cut out a new housing and run the wires to it. Then you would just want to make sure the hot is the hot and put your new switch in.

You will need to determine if the current switch will support an auxiliary outlet. Then determine which type of outlet is compatible with the switch.
