Get involved in things you would like a man to be interested in, such as volunteer groups, community college classes, and co-ed sports teams or hiking and gardening. Avoid trying to meet men while participating in activities that you would not like a man to be interested in, like drinking or gambling.

Be yourself. Remember what it was like trying to meet men before your marriage and do it all over again. Let them know in time though what you've been through.

Men can be met in the workplace, through friends, or by joining clubs or organizations in which you have an interest.

A widow can meet men like anybody else - through friends, at clubs, online, through establishments which they enjoy (i.e. gym, yoga, etc.). Obviously your experiences and approach will be different than others, and meeting somebody who can "understand" what you have been through might be difficult, but the location is no different than anybody else.
