It's best to start with a topic that one is familiar with. After that, doing background research and outlining the progression of your book. Then get writing.

A teen can write a book by setting a deadline for themselves, preferably a very short one, and writing for an hour or two every day until finishing the book. Assuming the teen writes every day, he or she should have a first draft within two months. This draft can then be revised into a polished novel.

Standard rule: Write what you know. Not something you heard. You know how to speak coherently, read what your writing and make it sound good. Take advice. Persist until done.

The best way is to write about your experiences or special things that have happened in your life. Keep a journal, diary. Ask your english teacher for help.
