How bad is 168/90 blood pressure?

I don't like medication if I don't need it.

Person having 160/90 blood pressure is definitely hypertensive. Weight reduction, exercise, walking, salt restriction, at least 8 hour sleeping, fat and sugar intake restriction, to stop worrying too much are the measures you should take immediately. Your BP will come down.

I think you should see a doctor, remember there are very side effects associated with high BP like brain swelling at extreme cases, you dont want to risk it. Your health is more important than me we all don't like seeing doctors but we do it anyway.

When one has blood pressure 168/90 it seems to be fairly very high. In this case if you dont like mediation the the first thing one must do is cut down salt in the food this is very important. The next is take good rest and have a sound sleep.

120/80 is a normal blood pressure, but 168/90 means you are on the borderline of having high blood pressure. Try to watch your salt intake and it may help lower it, but if it doesn't make an appointment with your Dr. and he may be able to suggest other alternatives.

Your systolic blood pressure is abnormal. So it should be treated with medicines. Avoid more usage of salts. Exercise regularly. You can go for walk daily.
