My seven year old daughter all the time asks questions about almost everything. When she does this, I just take my time, i'm being solemn and i answer every question truthfully, using words she can understand. I never say little stories. I just tell the plain truth, using photos sometimes if i think that it is necessary.

I answer as best as I can, and if I don't know, I'm honest. When he asks why I don't know, I say "Because no one ever told me. "

You have to answer them. Be truthful in most cases. If you don't it's both unfair to them and annoying to you because they will just ask again later.

This is the world of a five year old, asking questions, why this or why that. Exercise patience and answer all of their why questions. It could be that your child is bored, make play dates with similar aged kids and divert their attention with other activities. Keep them busy and challenged during the why years.
