Yes I have. Where a CSS book has not exactly told me how to code in CSS it has shown me examples of different program functions that I can take apart and work out backwards.

The book "CSS: Tbe Missing Manual" by David Sawyer Mcfarland is one of the many "missing manuals" published by O'Rielly that is extremely helpful and easy to understand. It has clear concise instructions that a beginner can use and helps you create web pages that look as though you are an experienced web page designer.
