Most toy products no longer contain asbestos or lead. If you are worried that it may, you should look online for consumer warnings on that brand and see if anything has been issued for it.

Certain types of clay may contain asbestos. Several producers of toy clay had to recall their products because of this, some examples being Fibro-Clay in 1983, Ja-Ru Toy Clay and Art Skills' Clay Bucket in 2007 and Nytal 100 in 2008. The use of talc-free clay is now widely recommended, especially in schools, to prevent such problems.

No, it does not contain asbestos, and if it did, it would be banned. I don't think that you need to be concerned at all. There are many guidelines set forth by the government to make sure that toys for children are safe to play with. Do not be worried.

No, i do not believe that toy clay contains asbestos. Anything containing asbestos would surely be removed from store shelves and no longer be sold in stores. There could have been this problem in the past, but it is unlikely to happen at this time.
