Question by  Sikkim (65)

Does tobacco dust get rid of fleas?

I want to get these pesky fleas out of my house!

Answer by  Britt (453)

Yes, however it should only be used on your lawn. Sprinkle it sparsely around the yard, do not use too much. However, don't use it in your house, as it is harmful to kids, and very harmful to cats. Fleas hate citrus, try boiling peels to make a spray.

Use it outdoors to kill flea infestations of the yard and surrounding areas. Do not use it indoors and don't use it around cats as nicotine poisons felines.

Many believe that it is a natural fertilizer, pesticide and flea repellant. It is not recommended because it can harm plants, fish and wildlife. "Use it at your own risk"
