Does the MLA format for a cover page differ from other style manuals?

I have a copy of the Chicago guide and wonder if I can just use that.

Yes, the cover page as well as other parts of your paper will differ from style to style. There is also the APA format which has its own rules for how to set up a cover page. You can search the web to see what the MLA requirements are.
