In a sense, but it's not that simple. At least 6 months before the trip, your pet must have blood work done, be microchipped, vaccinated or re-vaccinated for rabies, and if coming from a country with high rabies incidence, your pet must undergo a 6-month quarantine period in the UK.

Your pet doesn't need a passport, but you have to check regulations about pets going to different countries. Not all species are allowed to cross borders, and before you can take an animal into another country it needs a clean bill of health.
