Yes if you don't want to weed your flower beds, as it will choke them all out. However, snakes LOVE it! Once established, it requires NO maintenance. Impossible to get rid of & containment is very hard. Roundup requires several applications.

Asian Jasmine grows quickly and is very hardy. It will work well in both shady and sunny areas. It does not require much care once it's established. The problem can be that it is too good. It can be hard to contain in one area. It is also difficult to eradicate, if you decide you don't want it anymore.

Asian Jasmine is a very desirable ground cover. It will get very thick if it has some good sun. But if it is grown in a shady spot, it will be somewhat sparse. Plant it on one-foot centers and it will spread to cover fairly fast. It is drought tolerant, but will need regular watering to get established.

No!! Especially if it's anywhere near a building. We've got it in the front garden and it's coming in through all the window sills and door frames. It's completely taken over and neighboring bed of mint, too. It's a horror to get rid of.

No!!!!! It takes over everything in its path and the only wayto get rid of it is to pull it up by the roots. I am currently pulling it up and it is a backbreaking job!

The are great for ground. Theses plants spread very easily and extremely fast. They can grow in either full sun or full shade. These are very adaptable to their surroundings and have very little maintenance. Make sure you really want these though it is very hard to get rid of these plants once they have spread.

This makes an excellent ground cover that is perfect for large areas. It's somewhat drought resistent and does not flower. It can take sun or shade and is low maintainance.

Asian Jasmine is one of the best ground covers and especially in the southeast. It is a green dense ground cover that is a good spreader. It is great around trees. To use as a border you will need to keep it trimmed so it doesn't take over the garden. Nursery's highly recommend it.

These plants do make a good ground cover. They will grow level with the ground, although they will also twine if needed. Their glossy leaves turn from a light green to a dark green with age and they will grow in either full sun or full shade. They are moderately adaptable to frost.

It is the best ground cover here in the Phoenix area where the long hot summers make anything else almost impossible to grow. I've also had limited luck with Myoporum, but for some reason the whole area of it will die.
