A tilted cervix can make conception a bit more challenging as the sperm may not have a direct route to the cervical opening. Experimentation with various positions can help to change it's trajectory to aid in successful fertilization. Determination of the best position for conception is dependent upon the direction in which the cervix is tilted.

Normal anatomical position of the uterus is anteverted and anteflexed. If cervix is tilted it is due to retroversion of the uterus i. e. tilted backwards. Retroverted uterus interferes with conception and most advisable thing is to visit gynecologist and retroverted uterus should be anteverted uterus. Conversion of retroversion to anteversion is an office procedure.

There's a possibility that it could affect you getting pregnant. It's also possible that you could get pregnant the first try. Keep trying, if it doesn't work as your doctor.

It just means that you probably need to do certain things different in order to have a better chance getting pregnant. It is said that with a tilted cervix you should have sex in the doggy style position for the best chance of conceiving.
