I believe that there is sin. The actions committed with an intention to harm or hurt others or actions performed with a selfish motive are sins. Every action in this world has an equal and opposite reaction,which is true in spirituality also. Hence for every sin there will be retaliating reaction.

Yes. There are actions that bring hurt upon others and ourselves, but the idea of "sin" is simply a way for groups or religions to control behaviors.
