Do you send a wedding invitation to the pastor?

Isn't it implied that he is invited?

He is technically employed by you for the day, so you wouldn't need to send him a invitation anymore than you would a valet. However, if he is a friend of the family or has any relation to either party or has family you wish to invite you should send an invitation. couldn't hurt if you did. some people scrapbook.

Many couples wonder to whom they should send an invitation. The pastor is technically part of the wedding party, and therefore, the couple does not need to send him one.

It is not normal practice. The pastor is a vendor ( technically) just like the caterer, DJ, florist, photographer, etc. These individuals are paid to participate in your wedding. Invitations are generally reserved for all the others that you would like to attend and participate in your wedding. So to simplify, if they are paid to attend, no invitation.

With my point of view though he is a servant of God and due to this he has the power and his work is to serve God and to do weddings,so it is a formal request to send a wedding invitation to him. I don't think he should mind it anyway.
